Making it as a clothing designer

What is it with our love of clothing? What makes it appealing when it becomes transformed from everyday wash and wear to something fashionable? Its beauty is the motivation behind wannabe designers aspiring to become like Christiaan Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Calvin Klein, Coco Chanel and other top clothing designers.

The best clothing designers live like kings and queens and that's why each year college grads flock to this field to make their mark.It does seem like a wonderful life until you get to see behind the scenes and make a life changing decision.

The fashion industry is a billion dollar business so make sure you bring your A+ game if you want to be among the best.  Not only does it birth new things, it can also be very destructive.  It is one of the fastest growing creative industries that takes no prisoners.  A merciless monster of a job not recommended for the faint hearted.  Pursuing this sort of a career is not to be taken lightly.

The Heart Of Top Clothing Designers

"If you're good, you will manage but if you are brilliant, you will stay in the game", you need to keep at being brilliant all the time.  Excellence and pride is the key, as well as keeping to it.You have to compete to succeed and the competition is fierce in this field.  Hot as hell!

And in this hell, apparently, the devil is the fashionista.  Here, top clothing designers decide what is hot and what is not and from there it gets better, it cools down slightly. And this is when you can buy discount designer clothing on the back rack.  You could either attend a High Fashion show and select items you wish to purchase -that's if your name is Posh Beckam or a personal friend- straight from the runway as you see it on the models, or if you are not a friend of the famous, you could simply check out discount designer clothing online in the comfort of your home, office or closet.  Buy discount designer clothing.

Now, back to the discomfort of the hellish part of this industry where life-changing decisions are made, where friends become enemies and enemies becomes friends.  How far would you go to get to the top of the fashion food chain (before you get fed to one of the skinny models)?

It all starts out fun and glamorous but you'll eventually find out that a young designer like you would have a lot of problems: where you can get work, who would accept you? It may be hard, but the industry may not be as hellish as you think it is.

Take the chance and slip into your Chanel boots. Walk in Mark Jacobs while enjoying Polo or Calvin Klein Skirts. What would you wear as you strive to reach the top of the fasion ladder?
